Puma Blue หรือ Jacob Allen นักร้องนักแต่งเพลง โปรดิวเซอร์ และ multi-instrumentalist จาก South London ที่ได้รับความสนใจในเวลาอันรวดเร็วจากผลงาน EP ชุดแรก ‘Swum Baby’ เมื่อปี 2017 จากเพลง “[She’s] Just a Phase” ด้วยการนำเสนอเสน่ห์ของดนตรีผ่อนคลายจากกีตาร์ฟุ้ง lo-fi beat และแจ๊สฮอปซึ่งเป็นที่นิยมในช่วงเวลานั้น แต่โดดเด่นด้วยบรรยากาศในเพลงให้ความรู้สึกลึกลับน่าฉงน ทั้งยังแฝงความเย้ายวนชวนหลงใหลในเวลาเดียวกัน สไตล์การร้องของเขาได้อิทธิพลผสมผสานจากแจ๊สและ r&b กับเทคนิกทอดเสียงผสมกระซิบกระซาบ ซึ่งกลิ่นอายเหล่านี้ถูกถ่ายทอดออกมาผ่านปกอัลบั้มแต่ละชุดของเขา ที่ดูเหมือนเรากำลังหลงอยู่ในภวังค์กึ่งหลับกึ่งตื่นในห้วงนิทรา

Puma Blue, also known as Jacob Allen, is a singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist hailing from South London. He gained rapid attention with his debut EP 'Swum Baby' in 2017, featuring the track "[She's] Just a Phase." His music blends the charm of laid-back guitar-driven lo-fi beats and jazz-hop popular at the time but stands out with a mysterious and enchanting atmosphere, evoking both introspection and fascination simultaneously. His singing style is influenced by jazz and R&B, incorporating whispered vocals and sultry techniques, creating an aura that feels like a semi-conscious dream.
While Puma Blue's songs often delve into dark and mysterious themes, it doesn't necessarily mean he views everything negatively. Instead, he embraces and contemplates existence, finding depth beyond the surface.
